Another reason for a cuppa chocolate

Scientists have published the results of a study which results in the new phrase ‘warm hands, warm heart’ as opposed to ‘cold hands, warm heart’. Results are published in the journal Science.

Apparently, someone with warm hands is more likely to give than receive and be warmer towards others. They reckon it is to do with the concept of social warmth developed in infancy. We associate warmth with love and affection, memories of being cosy and warm in mama’s arms.

So on this cold windy day, wrap your hands around a steaming cuppa chocolate and drift into a cosy warm world :-)
