Turkish Delight truffles; well, OK, not really, that is, there’s not rose flavoured jelly inside these sweets, but there is rose flavoured milk chocolate. All thanks to this Rose Water in ‘my’ M&S. The recipe is the same as that for Baileys truffles but added 1 1/2 tsp rose water instead of Baileys.

The finished truffle was dipped in milk chocolate and decorated with a dried cranberry just to give it that red look and a hint of what’s inside. If I was being fancy and knew how, I would have decorated with edible/crystallised rose petals. Maybe that’s not even possible …

Is the fact that I now enjoy Turkish Delight a sign that I’m getting old… :) Whatever it means, this looks delicious! I can’t wait to move to Cork and be near Marks & Sparks!! :)

I heard that there was an M&S coming to Limerick … Or maybe that is just what people are saying to make the move to Clare (eventually) easier!
